I live in Michigan - I dream of warmer climates.
I prefer to drive back-roads, except during deer season.

I have a great life - filled with family and fun.
I love to play with geeky things: though I often feel late to the party.
My friends are few but very special.
My favorite places include: any library, any bookstore, many coffee shops, the Chicago Museum of Art, just about any hiking trail, the front seat of a glider, and anywhere with my son or husband.

I started playing on Twitter and now I'm sort of hooked. I haven't used Jaiku or Facebook for a while; Facebook due to the privacy issue. Not even sure if I will start using it again even though they've modified their privacy options. LinkedIn is a mainstay for work connections.

LESSONS I HAVE LEARNED (just this month or so)
-- keep an open mind even when feeling closed: just might find the new to be fun
-- vitamins don't fight off illness: but I'll keep taking them for the potential long term effect
-- an old farm house may be cool in the summer but that also means it's probably really cold in winter
